Notice of Temporary Road Closures for County Road 11 and County Road 17

County Road 11 and County Road 17 in the Township of Stone Mills will be temporarily closed to thru traffic from:

 

County Road 11

Embury Road to County Road 27 (Main Street)

 

County Road 17

County Road 27 (Main Street) to East Street

Dates & Times:

  • Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and Wednesday, November 5, 2025
  • From 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
    If work is completed earlier, the road will be reopened sooner.

Purpose of Closure:
This closure is required to complete pavement operations.

Traffic Information:

  • Traffic may not be able to cross the work site while asphalt is being laid.
  • Detours will be in place on County Road 11 and County Road 17, as shown on the closure maps attached.
  • Local traffic may access properties within the closed section by bypassing barricades. Please exercise caution when entering the construction zone.

Burn Ban Lifted

Effective, Friday August 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. The Township of Stone Mills Fire Department has lifted the fire ban. Please be advised that the regulations within the Burning By-law are still in effect. The By-law can be reviewed here.
